CLEARANCES FOR SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS

Listed below are the three websites that must be used to obtain the necessary clearances to become a school volunteer.

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK:

Cost: FREE FOR FIRST TIME VOLUNTEERS. Depending on when you are applying for a renewal of your Criminal Record Check, you may have to pay. It is free if you are applying for the first time.

CHILD ABUSE CLEARANCE:

Cost: FREE FOR FIRST TIME VOLUNTEERS. Depending on when you are applying for a renewal of your Child Abuse Clearance, you may have to pay. It is free if you are applying for the first time.

FBI FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE:

Cost: Between $20 & $25

Instructions/details to obtain your fingerprints are below. When you first log onto the site, please enter the Service Code and follow the directions. You do NOT pay online. You will pay when you have your fingerprints taken. You MUST register first and pick an appointment time. They do not accept walk-ins.

In an attempt to get more participation for meetings, the PTO has decided to hold only 4 meetings for the 2026-2027 school year.

The meetings are as follows:

• Tuesday, September 15, 2026
• Monday, November 2, 2026
• Monday, March 1, 2027
• Monday, April 5, 2027

The meetings are held in Room 308.  All participants are to enter Door #3, which is located on the side of the building parallel with Mendon Road.
